Emerson String Quartet

Acclaimed for its insightful performances, brilliant artistry and techincal mastery, the Emerson Quartet is known for its performances of the complete cycles of Bartok, Beethoven, and Shostakovich string quartets in major concert halls throughout the world. This performance includes: Janacek, String Quartet No. 2 ("Intimate Letters"); Saariaho, Terra Memoria; Sheng, String Quartet No. 5 ("The Miraculous"); and Bartok, String Quartet No. 3.
